Peter Stevens, Founder and Principal.
Peter's Mission is to help you realize complex projects effectively. He provides coaching, training and project management to help you get started with Scrum, save projects in crisis and make your IT operations leaner and more effective. Peter can help you with:

Originally from the US, Peter moved to Zurich, Switzerland way back when and got stuck. Peter studied Computer Science at Colgate University and is now a Certified Scrum Master. He speaks English, German, French and Italian. An Instrument rated private pilot, his current hobby is sign langauge.
Peter started his career in 1982 as a Software Engineer for Microsoft. Since emigrating to Switzerland in 1986 he specialized increasingly in UNIX, and later Linux. From 1993 to 2000 he wrote and maintained the first three versions of the SFI Director, an open source distributed system management tool. He realized the various client/server installations for SIG (Swiss Industrial Corporation), ASCOM Hasler, SWX Swiss Exchange. He founded SFI Technology Services, a pioneer in the Swiss Linux market, which realized reference solutions for many Linux early adopters, including the Swiss Department for Veterinary Medicine (IVI), EM Elektro-Material AG and the Monopolies Commission of the German government.
Together with John Socha-Leialoha (orginal author of the Norton Commander), he founded MinuteWatcher LLC where he served as Chief Architect.
More recently, Peter was Professional Services Manager, EMEA at MySQL and Principal Consultant for namics ag, the leading Internet Integrator in Switzerland.
Peter started was introduced to XP while working on MinuteWatcher and introduced Scrum and Agile Development to namics in 2006. The he took over the development of Publisherconnect (aka "White Label Classifieds"), the basis of nzzexecutive.ch, publicjobs.ch, nzzdomizil.ch and many other sites. Publisherconnect won a best of Swiss Web Award in 2007 for "Business Efficiency" and was shortlisted for "Master of Swiss Web."
He has been a board member of the Swiss Open System User Group, from 2000 to 2006. In 2004, he launched Angel Flight Europe, a charitable organization which provided free transportation to needy patients in Switzerland and the E.U.
